Sinchipura - Adventure, community life and rafting

It is located 25 minutes away by car from Tena and 10 minutes walking. The typically built eco-rooms are located besides a Kichwa family, on the Jatun Yaku river bank. The families live along the path. There are natural swimming pools and sports fields. You can hike to the Puma Rumi carving rockand the natural viewpoint Pasu Urku, where you can see the Sumaco volcano in case of good weather. You can live together with a Kichwa family to learn about daily life, take part in agriculture, crafts making and preparation of traditional food and drinks. There is also a museum about Kichwa culture. One of the most important attractions is the Jatun Yaku river, a class III river for rafting and kayaking (please request in advance if you want to do it). The last night, you will be able to participate in a farewell program with indigenous dance and gift exchange.
